Case No._

This project emerges from a critical reflection on animal experimentation, examining the correlation between Giorgio Agamben's concept of the "anthropological machine" and the symbolic hybrid figures in mythological narratives. Mythological beings possessing both human and animal characteristics fundamentally challenge the human-animal dichotomy, precipitating profound inquiries into questions of identity, power relations, the nature of consciousness, and humanity's relationship with the natural world.

The project culminates in the form of an experimental interactive theatre performance, featuring a five-screen video system that randomly alternates between fragments of animal and human bodies, positioning both under equal observational scrutiny. These five screens collectively form a complete bodily "image" - a perpetually generating series of disordered organisms. Each "image," composed of diverse biological fragments, exhibits remarkable parallels with mythological deities, metamorphosing into chimeras, cyborgs, and fictional entities comprised of myriad animal elements. In essence, this generation of "images" constitutes a process of "deification." The intrinsic similarities between human and animal essences enable the continuity of such transformations.
